Laura E. Parodi is is a Research Officer at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Oxford. Her main research interests lie in court life and the arts in the Timurid aftermath. She is currently writing a book on early Mughal painting, and recently organized (with James W. Allan) an international conference titled Arts, Patronage and Society in the Muslim Deccan (University of Oxford, July 2008).
